.:Galloping Skyward:.
.:Today's Weather:.

Spring is slowly spreading across the land and everywhere is warming up. Greens are sprouting and there's an occasional rain here and there but mostly it's sunny.
.:News and Updates:.

Welcome to Galloping Skyward! This is a horse/person RPG site, so you can be a horse, or a person who works at one of the ranches. Please read the rules and the plot before creating a character, and follow the template when you do. :) If you have any suggestions, feel welcome to tell me(Sparrow), I'll be happy to hear them. Being spring, horses are welcome to mate but when the season is over I don't want there to be any more without my say so. So create a character and gallop into the country!

Great fields of long grass and the occasional shrub or stream once ran across this land, there were no fences, just open spaces. Horses and other animals ran wild, simply enjoying life. Every creature had and knew its place and there was very little trouble. But then, slowly, humans began migrating over. They trickled in, little by little, building houses and fencing off small parts of the plains for their gardens and farms. Before they knew it, the horses were running out of space. Their herds had grown large over the years and suddenly there was nowhere for them to go without running into humans. It had been a gradual takeover, but now it was almost too late for the equines. Ranchers brought in cattle and captured the horses to use for herding. Some caught and raised the horses themselves, eventually selling them off to other places or people. The wild herds have diminished and are unsure of what to try next. But a rumor is traveling among the horses; apparently one stallion ran off in search of new lands. And he hasn't returned. But a young mare, his sister, has been having strange dreams of flying, and him. Some think she's crazy, but others think that perhaps the stallion has found magic...
